SESI President, Jill Hamilton, was excited to have a chance to speak at the annual Greater Washington Regions Clean Cities Coalition Conference. The conference featured an Electric and Alternative Fuels Vehicle showcase, as well as Panel Discussions about how fleets can transition to cleaner energy. Emerging technologies in clean transportation took the spotlight, as panelists shed light on the latest breakthroughs and systems shaping the transportation sector. Attendees gained valuable training on planning for electric vehicles. The day concluded with a Post-Event Reception, providing a platform for networking and continued discussions on the pivotal steps ahead in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener transportation landscape. |

SESI is delighted to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the National Clean Cities Program, which has marked an impressive three decades of enhancing the nation's energy resilience, economic prosperity, and overall well-being. Jill, when working for Information Resources, Inc., was a key consultant to the Department of Energy at the beginning of this program. Together with GWRCCC, we were able to donate 100 backpacks in total at two impactful community events, the Equity Now Charter School Block Party and the NStyle Back to School Block Party. As we join hands to support education and sustainability, these events not only equip students with essential supplies but also foster a spirit of collaboration that will continue to thrive throughout the academic year. |
